WindCurrent offers renewable energy certificate products. For every unit of electricity generated from renewable sources, an equivalent amount of renewable energy certificates, or RECs, is produced. Your purchase of WindCurrent RECs supports new renewable electricity generation, which helps offset the environmental effects of burning coal, natural gas and other fossil fuels in the US. Also, your purchase helps to grow the market for renewable electricity.

Important: You will continue to receive a separate electricity bill from your utility company.
